Bacterial STIs are caused by bacteria, which infect people by invading and destroying cells. 

• Some people who get bacterial STIs take a while to start showing symptoms.

• But many people have NO symptoms. Even with no symptoms, you can still spread bacterial STIs.

• The only way to know if you have been infected is by getting tested!
